"It takes a village to raise a child" may be a well-used phrase, but it has held the test of time. Banding together to help others is even more true as we face a global pandemic, remote learning, and restless times. Kids especially - and yes their parents and teachers too - need your help now as they face the start of an unconventional and trying school year. Kids also need caring adults to help them see past today's challenges and to help them develop skills for a successful future. Adults struggling with low literacy also benefit from supportive services to help them improve their quality of life and that of their families. Thanks for being a villager.
CBEC's Virtual Bingo Event on Zoom will have 10 rounds. The winner of each round will receive a $50 gift card to a local restaurant or business along with the warm feeling of helping out a great organization. You can purchase more than one bingo card to improve your chances to win. Be one of the first 25 players to register and get a Chick-fil-A Meal Package & Cool Gift. There will be fun and surprises throughout the evening. Once you have purchased your bingo card(s) you will receive an email on how to get your bingo card(s) and a link to register for this Zoom event.
During the event you will learn more about the our transition from Victoria Business and Education Coalition to Crossroads Business and Education Connection. We will also share stories of how our volunteers have helped children, youth, and adults find a brighter future. Learn about our future plans including the addition of key programs from Victoria Adult Literacy Council and our newest program Adopt-a-School.
